Reopening Friday, June 26th
We are excited to announce that we will be re-opening for dine-in starting Friday, June 26th.
Some exciting things:
- Check out our newly renovated interior!
- We have an updated online Food Menu
- New temporary hours: open everyday 5pm-1am (starting 6/26/2020)
- Call (773) 465-7660 to make your dine-in reservation or to place your take-out or delivery order
- For your health and safety, our COVID19-sensitive dine-in service includes:
- Seating 6+ feet from other parties
- All staff will wear masks at all times and work with the highest standards for sanitization
- Sanitizer will be provided for patrons and bathrooms will be stocked with soap
- Disposable plates and utensils will be provided
- In place of water pitchers, we will provide bottles of water for $1 each
- In place of physical menus, we will direct patrons to yeowoosai.com/menu for mobile phones. Disposable menus will be available upon request.

Thank you so much to our loyal customers who have started up a GoFundMe to support our employees. Unfortunately, the impact of the COVID19 stay-at-home restrictions have forced us to adjust our business and cut back in areas including staff pay. However, it’s kind moments like this that make us hopeful and grateful for people who look out for one another.

Coronavirus Update
Yeowoosai has been open since 1995 without interruptions. The City of Chicago and the state of Illinois has announced today that all restaurants and bars are to close for dining until the end of March 2020.
Beginning on Tuesday, March 17, 2020, dine-in at our establishment will be closed. However we will remain open for carry out and delivery orders only during the city wide closure.

There are more shapes, sizes and colours than you can even count, and we use the very best seasonal ones, including carnival, onion, butternut and spaghetti squashes. Try our amazing pumpkin and squash gnudi when you’re next in – they’re lovely soft ricotta dumplings in a squash sauce, mixed with chilli and Stilton cheese.
